ActivityStack cleanup

- Moved some methods that mostly operate with internals of
  ActivityRecord and/or logically should belong their to
  ActivityRecord class.
- Reduced visibility of some methods and fields.
- Other minor cleanups.

Test: Manual and existing tests still pass.
